It's here, it's here! Halloween is here! And it is Five for Friday!
1. On Sunday, we went to our first Trunk or Treat at our church. The kids had a great time, but Ginny Beth ripped that adorable costume to shreds in the obstacle course. I am thankful that Wal Mart took it back and had another one in her size!
2. I got some awesome news from my friend Carla at Comprehension Connection! She, Melissa from Don't Let the Teacher Stay Up Late, Jessica from Hanging Out in First, and I are presenting at the Virginia State Reading Association Conference in March!
3. My first grade groups have been working on the -at word family this week. Today we made these cute bats, which I got from A Cupcake for the Teacher, and wrote -at words on the wings. They had a blast!
4. Today we got to dress up for Halloween. My friend let me borrow this fun banana costume. All day I heard, "You're a banana!" AHHHHHH! I finally started to tell kids that I was an apple!
5. I leave you with this view!
