I can't believe that today is my last day with kids! We are going to enjoy field day and a slide show with the kids, and then I have four work days next week, and I am free! Usually we are going through part of June and struggling to fill the days, but it seems surreal that it is over! Going back in early August is really paying off. Too bad my son won't get out until June 11, but next year we will be on this same schedule. I am so excited! I am linking up today with Kacey at Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday!
1. The end of the year is the perfect time to clean out our rooms and closets. One of our teachers has really gotten rid of a lot of stuff. I saw this and had to laugh. Look at the date on it.
I was only in 7th grade when this was published!
2. I got to skip out of work for a little while and go see Ginny Beth's end of year program. For a few of the songs, she was the only one singing from her class. So cute and sweet!
3. I am still tutoring a kindergartener one day a week after school. We will continue in the summer. He has been working on sight words, so we built them this week. I love using the sight word string ups and beads. He had fun with these, but he still loves stamping the words more!
4. Yesterday the bikers on the Southern Route from Run for the Wall stopped by our school. Can you imagine the noise of over 200 motorcycles? It is the highlight of our year, and we are glad they were able to come again this year!
5. Stop by again this weekend to grab some freebies in the Memorial Day Blog Hop! There are 28 freebies to grab, and you won't want to miss it!
What have you been up to this week? Link up with Kacey from Doodle Bugs Teaching to let us all know!

I love the "read it, build it, write it" for your kindergartener. I also think the bikes are an awesome thing! I can't imagine 200+ bikes "stopping by" our school!
