Five for Friday ~ August 30

Well, it has been a busy week, and I am ready for a long weekend!  I am linking up again with Kacey at Doodle Bugs Teaching for another Five for Friday!

Here are my five random things from this week!

1.  Zack had his first soccer game this past weekend, and his one goal is to get a goal for the team!  Here he is ready to go!  They lost the first game but won their second one on Tuesday night!

I have some great soccer graphics from The 3AM Teacher I am dying to use, but I am having a block.  Any ideas?  Feel free to leave them in the comments.

2.  I spend some time in the computer lab with various grade levels and looked up to notice this the other day.

They had to replace a TV in a classroom and used the one from the computer lab.  This is someone's idea of a TV!

3.  I have been working on fifth grade to make goals for the year.  We modeled after the book This School Year Will Be the BEST!  You can check out my post with the freebie templates {here}!  They wrote three goals, one academic, one personal, and one that could not happen.  They then had to tell how they will achieve that goal.  Here is the book and some examples.

4.  I think I may be getting a cold or something.  Here is my new friend!  These things work wonders!
5.  And have you joined Educents yet?  Tomorrow is the last day to get your $5 credit! Just click {here} or on the image below to grab one!
Head on over to Doodle Bugs Teaching to see what everyone else has been up to this week and link up!

  3. That "TV" made me laugh! Hope you start feeling better. You're supposed to be sick during school and healthy on the weekends ;-)
