Fabulous Find Friday and a Day with Friends

Today I went with my two closest friends, who I met in college, to get our nails done.  I had purchased a "groupon" type of thing for them, and we took advantage of it!  Ahhhhhh...how nice and relaxing!  My nails look and feel so much better.  We went to eat at Panera ~ YUM! and got a little retail therapy in.  We then went to Starbucks to get our free Refreshers.  So glad they were free!  My Very Berry Hibiscus tasted like a hibiscus was in it, and the Cool Lime, umm, couldn't put our fingers on it.  Just yuck!!!

Anyway, here are Crystal and Susan getting ready for their pedicures while I got my manicure.

And I got those cute shoes above from Target for half price.  They were too cute to pass up and will look fun with jeans.  I rarely buy funky shoes like these, but I am taking a chance!

Today I am also linking up with Fun in Room 4B for Fabulous Find Friday.
Here is what I found this week that I cannot wait to use!  I found the You Read to Me, I'll Read to You hardcover books at Kroger for a mere $6 each.  I posted about this earlier this week, but I LOVE them.  I used to read them with my son, and he thoroughly enjoyed them.  I think he still would enjoy them if I got them out.  Maybe I will!
Anyway, I am going to use these mainly with my second, third, and fourth graders to help with fluency.  It will be fun to listen to them read the stories with me and each other.

This weekend is Zack's eighth birthday!  I can't believe he is that old already!!  I am going to start getting ready for that.  Tonight he is spending the night with his friend, so we are putting together his birthday gift.  Feels like Christmas, if you ask me!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Until next time!
