Book Talk Thursday ~ Abigail and the North Pole Adventure

It's another edition of Book Talk Thursday and one last winter linky post.   I will have the linky up next month as well too!  Thanks to everyone who has linked up!  It is fun to see all of the fun books you have shared!

It sure has been cold out there, and the Northeast has really felt it lately!  Though I like a big snow, that may be too much for me.  I am hoping for a good snow soon!

In this cold weather, it is fun to read books about the Arctic and Antarctic.  Last week's post focused on penguins in the Antarctic, so this week will focus on the Arctic.

I was asked to review this fun Kindle eBook about a young girl named Abigail who has a magical bicycle which takes her to places around the world called Abigail and the North Pole Adventure.
For this adventure, she goes to the North Pole.  She meets a new friend, Suki, who shows her around.  While looking at the fishing hole, a polar bear drifts off into the water on a an ice floe.  They work together to help the polar bear.

I love to read books that share a good story and incorporate a little bit of learning.  Throughout the book, children are shown different aspects of the Arctic life such as ice fishing, igloos, and ice floes.  It is perfect for young children who will be delighted with a fun adventure!

I read this with my four year old, and she loved it!  She wants me to get the rest of them, so I can read them with her.  So glad she enjoyed it!

Don't forget to link up this week!  I can't wait to read about some more fun books!
