Oh my! I have really only been assessing for the past three weeks and have had little to share on Five for Friday, but I am back! I am linking up today with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday!
1. My black shoes were getting ratty, so I ventured out to the shoe stores to buy some new ones. I have a hard time finding shoes that are cute because I have wide feet. Cute flats actually hurt my feet horribly, but that was what I needed. I found this cute gray pair for $7.50! I got a black pair in WIDE for $6.50 and another black pair in WIDE for $20. I had a $7 off coupon and got all three pairs of shoes for less than $30! Whoohoo for sales!
2. I have been assessing most of the school the past three weeks. If I wasn't assessing, I was teaching. Let me tell you, this was a task! I enjoyed it but am ready to get back into my normal groove. Today I was looking at the data and reworking my groups and lesson plans. This is what my table looked like!
3. Last night our Sunday School group served dinner to 60 children who go to another church for homework help and a safe place to be. It was an amazing experience to see these kids who aren't guaranteed a meal get a meal. They ate most of it up! After cleaning up, my friend found this awesome cookbook from the 1960's. She showed me this cake that I may have to try to make for Ginny Beth. I probably won't, but I would like to dream!
4. Speaking of Ginny Beth, she loves to dress up. My friend brought her the dress and shoes from Morocco, and she put it on. She was a Rock Star Moroccan Princess. Love it! I can't believe she is going to be 4 next week!
5. And my son, Zack, did something that amazed me during his last basketball game. If you haven't read the post, you need to head over to that post and read it. Grab a tissue, though. You may shed some tears! Click {here} or on the picture below to head on over there!
Hope your week was a good one!

I had an epic shopping event like that at Target last Sunday:clearance items including new black boots and an extra 20% off on top. It was awesome.
