Five for Friday ~ July 18, 2014

It's Five for Friday!!

This week has been busy, busy, busy!

1.  Last weekend, we went to a wine festival close by.  Ginny Beth had a ball with the horses.

She groomed them.

She painted one.

She rode a pony!

Needless to say, she had so much fun!

2.  My son turned the big 1-0 this week!  I can't believe he is already in the double digits!

3.  Wednesday I went to the Virginia Blogger Meetup!  How fun!  It was so great to meet so many fun people and network!  Here we all are!
4.  I knew two "Lit Land Ladies", but I finally met Jessica from Hanging Out in First.  So great to have four of us together!

From left to right:  Melissa from Don't Let the Teacher Stay Up Late, Me, Jessica from Hanging Out in First, and Carla from Comprehension Connection.
5.  Have you been through the Author Study Blog Hop?  This one focuses on the works of Ezra Jack Keats.  I have a sampler of my larger unit for the book Goggles.  Check it out by clicking on the picture below and enter to win a copy of my full unit!

What have you been up to this week?  Head on over to Doodle Bugs Teaching to link up and find out what everyone else is up to!

  1. That's really neat that they let the kids paint the horse. Was it real? It was so fun to meet up again!
