As I said before, I love new books and new fashion accessories. That's why I can't resist these fun to read books AND these easy to wear earrings my friend at BN Blessed Designs has created. More about those as I tell about some fun books to read with your class.
Learning about fall is a staple for this time of year. Children are curious about this time of year, and books about fall make it real for students, especially for those who don't have fall. Awesome Autumn and Fall: Seasons of the Year are two great books that explain fall in a fun way. And they are great for getting information to students, so they can do a little poetry writing, like you see below.
And what about those earrings? The leather earrings make it all the more fun to read the books and know that you look amazing too!
Who doesn't love going to the pumpkin patch and apple picking? The kids at the Robin Hill School love to go out and learn more about their world. Their adventures take us many places this fall, such as a pumpkin patch, apple picking, and searching for all fall leaves.
Speaking of apples, taking some time out to learn with apples makes fall a lot more fun. I love both the books Amelia Bedelia's First Apple Pie and The Biggest Apple Ever to help students understand more about apples and how we can use them. And aren't these basket weaves earrings the cutest to go apple picking? You can purchase those at this link.
If you would like to find out more about how I use the Amelia Bedelia book for multiple meanings, head over to this post to grab a freebie and find out more.
And who doesn't love the pumpkin patch and pumpkins? The Pick a Pumpkin, Mrs. Millie book cracked me up, and your students will laugh out loud when Mrs. Millie calls things by the wrong name. And How Many Seeds in a Pumpkin? makes a perfect math lesson in estimating, grouping, and counting.
And I can't wait to go to the pumpkin patch in these super cute pumpkin earrings! This fall morning had me feeling in the mood for a trip to the pumpkin patch.
What about football?! I do have my favorite teams, but this book, My First Book of Football by Sports Illustrated is amazing for helping young students learn more about the sport of football. The easy to read book with fun and real pictures help young students better understand this fall sport!
Can you guess my favorite teams based on these earrings??
Yes! Growing up in Louisiana, I LOVE the Saints. Getting a degree from the University of Virginia makes you a Cavalier for life! Geaux, Saints! Wahoowa!
And don't forget Halloween. Our students love Halloween, and this selection of Halloween books will get them ready for one of their favorite holidays. The Robin Hill School kids are back with some Halloween Fun and a party no one will forget. Who doesn't love Gilbert?? In Trick or Treat, Smell My Feet, he wants to be his own self and not have to deal with his sister. What will he do? And who will win the big prizes in Halloween Parade?
And if you want (or need) some great earrings (and other home decor), head over to BN Blessed Designs for some one of a kind fashion statements. You can purchase on Etsy or check her out on Facebook where she runs some great deals and contests!
