Interactive books are always a lot of fun to read aloud to children. They love being able to interact and engage with the characters. Little Penguin and the Lollipop by Tadgh Bentley does just that!
Right from the beginning, Little Penguin is seen eating a scrumptious lollipop that once belonged to his friend, Kenneth. The problem is that Kenneth wants his lollipop back. Little Penguin tries super hard to get it back but all to know avail.
The fun begins when Little Penguin invites the audience to help make Kenneth feel better.
Finally, Little Penguin finds that way to help Kenneth, but what happens next really isn't expected.
Engaging students with the books we read to them makes that read-aloud time fun, and Little Penguin and the Lollipop does not disappoint!
