I'm not one to get ready for Christmas before Thanksgiving, but I couldn't resist getting a head start with these fun new Metallix Kwik Stix paints. The staff at Kwik Stix sent me some for my daughter and I to try out, and they have been so much fun! {I received a sample of the product to review and give my honest review here on the blog.}
Kwik Stix Products
My daughter loves using the Kwik Stix products at her art table, and I do too. I love that we don't have to get any brushes, water, or paint out to do a little bit of art.
Kwik Stix now has two new colors of paint out: Metallix and Neon colors. The neon colors remind me a lot of my childhood back in the 1980's.
Those were the days of bright colors and fun! The Metallix have a fun sparkle to them, making them every girl's dream to paint with. Who doesn't love a little sparkle!?
Kwik Stix Craft
My daughter and I took only a few minutes to make a simple wreath out of a paper plate, something I had around the house. Now I have to admit, this plate wasn't the best, but it did what I wanted it to do.
We painted the rim of the plate with the green Metallix paints.
We made a quick bow with the pink, and then she went to town putting dots all over it. She got a little crazy with the purple and put it in the middle, as you can see.
Overall, this was quick and fun. The best part was that it dried so quickly that we could hang it up in a jiffy.
Kwik Stix have become a staple at my daughter's art table. She loves having them right there to use at any time, and so do I. I love not having to lug everything out just to paint a little. Kwik Stix will make a great Christmas present for any child!
I'd use these to have my kids create Christmas trees or to decorate Christmas cards!

I would have the kids make cards for family and school support staff. The support staff (kitchen ladies,custodians,etc) can sometimes be overlooked.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is so true, they really do get overlooked. What a great idea!
DeleteI'd love to color with them.I'm sure my nieces would have fun making Christmas pictures with them. Thank you for the chance 😀

ReplyDeleteOh our little one loves to paint, but it can get so messy sometimes. I would love to do this even just on paper. We could draw some neat pictures or make our own giftwrap!
ReplyDeleteMaking your own gift wrap would be so fun! That is a great idea!
