1. Monday was "Muffins with Mom" at Ginny Beth's school, but I had to miss it since I was testing all day! My mom went instead, and she brought this home. I love it!
2. Now that testing is over, and my order came in, I have been working with my students on fun! We have been playing this new fun game that I got called Last One Standing: Vowel Fowl by Edupress.
The kids have had fun playing it. There are two ways to play, and we are playing the one way where everyone plays the same cards.
3. The end of the year is here, and the kids in second and third grades made their poetry books to read and take home. Next week they will get their summer reading fun packs. One of the kids actually asked for it today! He is a major behavior problem, but he always works so hard for me. I so wish he would do that for his other teachers.
I loved listening to them read some of their poems and talk about the pictures they had drawn.
4. We had our last Pinterest party for the year today. We made these today! They will be so much for the summer. Ginny Beth even painted a pretty picture with us today. How fun!
5. And Sunday, May 18, join some Virginia bloggers for a fun blog hop! You don't want to miss it ~ tons of freebies and ideas! Thanks, Carla from Comprehension Connection, for the graphic!
Those mason jars are so cute. I really need to start up one of the Pinterest Party groups here! They sound SO fun! That will be my mission for June :-)
