What a week and weekend!  A whirlwind has come around, and it is not even over yet!  I am linking up with both Kacey and Doodle Bugs Teaching AND Farley at Oh Boy Fourth Grade this weekend!

1.
Most are pretty self-explanatory, but I just wanted to pass on a little tidbit of information about my laptop.  A few weeks ago, I updated my avast! antivirus, which disabled my wireless card.  I had to go to a friend to get it fixed.  Then I reinstalled it Friday night and restarted my computer.  BAM!  Turned on my laptop today to NO keyboard functionality!  After researching the problem ~ yes ~ it was avast! again!  Uninstalled it and had my keyboard back.  Word to the wise, avoid avast! and all of their updates!  I got a new antivirus and hope to be pleased.

2 Truths and a lie:

1.  Yes, I am un-American.  I don't like ketchup.  Makes me ill to smell it!

2.  I have taught in the same school for 17 years, and there are only 4 teachers who have been there longer than me.  Scary!

3.  I like to WALK on the treadmill and read a good book.  I am not a runner and really have no desire to be one.

2.  Have you been through the blog hop yet this weekend?  Today is the last day!  Click on the image below to take you to Comprehension Connection to get started and grab your freebies!

3.  Had a snow day on Wednesday and enjoyed a fun game of Candy Land with my kids.  This was Ginny Beth's first time playing!

Did you know that playing board games helps with math skills?  It helps kids with addition and subtraction strategies since they can work on counting to know how many spaces to go to get to a goal.  Interesting tidbit of information!

4.  Teachers Notebook is having a big sale where everyone gets 10% off their orders with no code needed!  My entire shop is 20% off, meaning you get 28% off!  Head on over and get some shopping done!

    1. So glad you stopped by! Snow days have been fun, even when we didn't get a lot of snow! Enjoy playing board games to help with math skills. My son's principal passed that little bit of information on to me, and I think it is great!

  2. I love ketchup! My daughter has my taste buds too because she eats it on everything too! I thought we were going to get a snow day again today, but the temperature didn't drop enough. I was hoping for one because I have an ear infection and I didn't want to take the day off...which I didn't but then wound up coming home mid afternoon.

Found your blog through Currently! Would love for you to head over and check out my blog. I am doing a February Holiday TpT pack giveaway!

    1. Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you are feeling better soon! I used to have so many ear infections as a kid, and I know that they are no fun.

I am heading over to your blog to check out your giveaway!

  3. No Ketchup? How do you eat meatloaf? Fries? LOL! I am so impressed that you figured out and fixed your laptop's issue! That's pretty amazing that you have taught at the same school your entire career! Pretty awesome. I have also been teaching for 17 years, but this is my 4th school!

    Have a wonderful week!

    1. I am pretty much a no condiment person, so I have gotten used to it. I do make sure that my kids eat condiments because I don't want them to be super picky like me!

  4. Haha, we are similar again! Not only with the running, but the distaste for ketchup. Yuck. Looks like we might get more snow next week, although I'm not exactly sure I want it...
