My Truth {Monday} About Teaching

I was watching Mike and Molly and avoiding doing some work when I happened upon this linky with Sunny Days in Second Grade.   Molly wanted to follow her dream and not be a teacher anymore.  I can't imagine doing anything else, so I took a couple of minutes to tell about what I have really wanted to do!

  1. Right now I am working in a Reading room doing interventions and teaching guided reading groups, and I agree that it is rewarding. But I am just holding my breath waiting to get back into a Kindergarten classroom!

  2. Great post! Intervention is all I have ever taught, so I would at least like to try the classroom one day. I absolutely love teaching, but I also like working with other teachers, and will admit that I actually like lesson planning. One day, when I am WAY closer to retirement, I think I might be interested in being a curriculum director. I think that might combine all of my interests!

  3. You are right! Nothing is better than seeing kids show progress- except maybe watching their faces when THEY see they are making progress!
