Happy Birthday, America!
I hope that you are enjoying some fun with your friends and family today! I have scheduled this post, so I am NOT sitting in front of the computer!
It is Thursday, which means it is time for...
In the spirit of the holiday, I am just going to tell you about a fun book I have been reading with Ginny Beth, my two and a half year old ~ Fourth of July Mice!
She really enjoys the fun rhythm and rhyme in the book. The mice do all of the fun things we do on the Fourth of July and even take time to go swimming. It is a great book to help her with things like rhyming, which she is beginning to understand. When I read the book with her, she now can fill in the rhymes at the end of the lines.
The illustrations are fun and colorful to keep children's attention too. There are several other books in this series for other holidays, so feel free to check them out too. They have the same rhythm and rhyme, which is great for helping children gain confidence as they learn this important skill.
In June, I participated in my first Facebook Frenzy with Creation Castle. My freebie was a set of 20 Patriotic Themed Sight Word Phrase Puzzles. If you missed them, you can grab them in my TPT store or TN shop! Just click on the links {TPT} {TN} or the picture below to grab them for yourself!
Enjoy your Fourth and don't forget to link up for that $25 gift card to Barnes and Noble! You can link up as many times as you like through August 18th! I love the many books I am finding to read!
