RTI Progress Monitoring ~ Guest Blogger ~ Jennie from JD's Rockin' Readers

Welcome to Jennie from JD's Rockin' Readers today to give us some insight on RTI Progress Monitoring!  I am enjoying every moment of my vacation!

Even when the girls are away- we still like to play!  Hi!  I'm Jennie from JD's Rockin' Readers and Andrea invited me over to her blog today while she is on vacation.  Funny thing is, I'm on vacation too!

Don't worry, we set this all up ahead of time- so no- we are actually relaxing and don't have a worry in the world right now- we aren't blogging on vacation:) I thought I would share with you my RTI Progress Monitoring Pages.  With Andrea being a Reading Specialist I thought that maybe her readers would be interested in some pages that can help with documentation. First, I want you to think about that child in class... he is really struggling with reading, math, and maybe even gym.  Okay- probably not gym.  You go to meetings and brainstorm ideas of how to help this child.  In today's teaching world, documentation is the key in these circumstances.  If you have to do any sort of testing for this child, you WILL need the documentation of everything you have tried.  You will need to record assessment results and be able to tell what has worked and what has not.  I have made up some recording pages that can help you do just that.  Click on the picture to take you there- and they are even FREE- even better right?
I made these generic enough so that they can be used at different grade levels and for various subjects.  Here is a link to a specific blog post on how I have used these with a student who was struggling with learning sight words. {Click Here}. I hope you enjoy them and I would love for you to stop by my blog.  Actually, Andrea is guest blogging for me too- and there is another freebie involved- so what are you waiting for?? While you are there, I am also hosting several linky parties this summer that discuss overall classroom management, center time, and other ideas.  I would love for you to link up with a blog post or comments:) I am going back to the regular First Grade Classroom after 9 years so I need help:)
Thanks Andrea for inviting me over!  You ROCK:)
Thanks, Jennie!  These are wonderful!  So glad we got to enjoy our vacation!!!

Head on over the Jennie's blog to see what I am up to!  There is a freebie waiting for your there!!
