Post Super Bowl Compound Words Freebie
I was watching the Super Bowl waiting for the lights to come back on in the SuperDome last night and thinking about my fun Compound Words Match Up activity. I really wanted to include the sight words compounds like, everyone, somebody, itself, etc. I decided to create this little freebie in honor of the Super Bowl just for you!
You can use this as a game with your students as I will or as a Literacy Center. Students turn cards over and decide if it is a word or not. If it is, they write it on the recording sheet. If not, they do nothing. Students then choose one word to write their own unique sentence.
