Thursday Freebie!

Today was a much better day.  I enjoyed being back on my little schedule, which makes it so much easier for me to function.  I love routines and schedules, so a day like today makes it easier!

Zack's baseball practice was cancelled due to rain, so I took him to Chuck E. Cheese night for his school.  Ugh!  But my neighbors were there, so I enjoyed talking with them.

Today I worked with my first graders on a fun little activity.  I have posted it on my TPT store for free until Monday!  Please download it and let me know what you think.  If I need to change anything, please let me know.  Click on the picture below to link to it.

 Aren't those little animals cute?  These are a sampling of  the ending sounds for making the words.  The graphics are from The 3AM Teacher.

They really had fun and were very engaged.  This is something I am giving to the first grade teachers to use as a literacy center while I am testing in a few weeks.  Since the kids know how to do it, it should be a breeze for them.
