Teaching Strategies That Work Linky

Thanks to Education Highway for hosting this linky and giveaway!

Have you ever had students who just didn't want to do what you thought they should do?  Sometimes we spend a lot of time motivating students to do something has simple as cutting paper.

I work with a group of third graders to help them with their spelling and vocabulary.  Each Monday we spend a few minutes cutting and sorting their words.  They really don't like to do this, so I got out my old scrapbooking scissors to let them use each Monday.  They love it and don't complain!  How simple was that?!

And speaking of simple ~ there is a new social media site out there perfect for us as teachers~tsu!  Have you heard of it?

It is like Facebook but better because it won't hide your posts like Facebook does.  Instead, it lets everyone see everything! AND you can make money with with it!
