Five for Friday ~ May 10th

It was the first week of testing in my school this week, but I was able to get some pictures of some other things around the school or even at home.  So, I am linking up with Kacey at Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday.
1.  Today I stopped by the fifth grade classroom and saw this wonderful "Poet-tree.  The tree had some wonderful haiku poems on them all about spring.  The teacher said that next year she is going to have the students make one for each season/theme.  Love it!

2.  It rained all day Monday through Wednesday and was so dreary and cold!   Here is our backyard, which is actually part of the holding pond for the neighborhood.  We have considered buying kayaks!

3.  It was so nice to see the sun!  Here is a picture that was I took as Ginny Beth and I watched the birds flitting around the backyard!

4.    Zack finally had a baseball game this week!  Here he is just before he made a big hit! Too bad the next two kids got out before he could make it home!

5.  And some giveaways!

I am helping Holly at  Fourth Grade Flipper with her big 500 Follower Giveaway!
I am also helping Jennie at JD's Rockin' Readers with her fun May-ga Giveaway!  It is three days worth, so go enter them all!
Twins, Tacos, and Teaching is also having a fun birthday giveaway.
1st Grade Fireworks is also having a big birthday giveaway!

What are you waiting for?  Head on over to see what everyone else did this week and check out these fun giveaways!
