Five for Friday ~ October 11, 2013

Yay for Friday!  I am ready for the weekend, even though it is supposed to be kind of dreary here!  It is time for another link up with Kacey at Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday!

My husband brought these home from work for us to enjoy last night.  They were a glove full of yumminess:  chocolate dipped chips, candy corn/pumpkins, butterscotch chips, caramel corn, Reese's peanut butter cups, and sprinkles.  Look how cute and simple!

We had to take our new Pilot (Rhonda) in to get the DVD players fixed.  The dealership was nice enough to give us a loaner car.  The salesman brought a zippy little Hyundai Elantra off the lot (used car for sale) for us to use.  When Zack got in, this was in the back seat.  Yuck!  Who in the world is going to buy this car?!

Today I went with the fifth graders to the rock quarry a couple of miles from the school.  This is always a super fun trip because we get to see something right here in our community!  They love taking the bus on a ride through the quarry.  Here is a picture of it from the observation deck.
