Boogie Down for Book Talk Thursday!

It's Halloween, and I just wanted to share a fun book for Book Talk Thursday!

I came across this book through a suggestion on my Facebook page.  I waited to post about it because this book can really be for any time of the year, but it is a fun book to read for Halloween.  Boogie Knights by Lisa Wheeler is a fun book that will get everyone moving!
The book is rollicking fun!  The book starts out as a little boy is lurking around a castle and sees the monsters having a ball, "while upstairs, unawares" the knights do not know what is going on.  But when they do find out, a whole party ensues!  I love how the book uses names for the knights like "Sir Viver" and "Sir Render".  It really makes it fun for even adults to read.  The book is full of rhythm and even has some counting in it.  Kids will love the way it sounds and may even end up boogying down!

I hope you are enjoying your Halloween!  I am going to enjoy some time with friends and family as we walk the block!

Happy Halloween!
