March Currently!

March is here and coming in like a lion! Which means only one thing ~ It will go out like a lamb!  And another thing ~ Farley's Currently!!!

Here is mine!

So, we have only had a lot of "snow days", but most of it was for wintry mix that was really just rain.  No fun in that!  Hope the weathermen are right this time!  I want some of this!!!
Today is Zack's last Upward basketball game. Next year he has decided to play just rec, so this is the last time I will see him run through the tunnel!
For my 3 things that start with my first name.

I LIKE adventures!  I love when our family goes out and about to find new things.  I also enjoy field trips because kids learn so much more from the real life experiences.

I LOVE doing activities with my students.  It is so much fun to watch them as they are learning while having fun!

And I HATE assessments.  I know they are important for my job, but I get bored with them.  I guess I just like the activities part so much better.  I really need to find a good balance of activities and assessment!

So, what are you CURRENTLY doing?  Go link up with Farley at Oh Boy Fourth Grade and then see what everyone else is doing too!

One last plug before I head on!  I am participating in a huge giveaway!  Tracey at The Teacher's Chair is having a huge 100 follower giveaway!  Go find out about all of the great prizes and enter to win!

Until next time!

  4. I'm with you and Megan - serious assessment overload. Practice STAAR's last week and a Benchmark and Unit Assessment this week. Oh the joys. The good news...lots of data.

My step-son played Upward basketball last year and I really like their program. I think all kids sports should be run in that format - equal playing time, teaching rules and teamwork.

    1. Upward is a wonderful program. I will miss it! He is just ready for the challenge of the rec league, which more of his school friends play. I think it will be a good change for him, especially if he wants to continue to play as he gets older.

  5. I can't believe you still have a chance of snow. I'd much rather have snow than all of this rain! I help ref the basketball games at our school. It's pretty low key, but the last game is Tues. and I will be happy when it's over for the year!

  6. Yep, I am hoping for snow on Wednesday, too! If it has to be this cold, it may as well snow:)
And I noticed your "I'm a Virginia blogger" button - I'm in Richmond!
