The First Six Months and a Linky

I wasn't planning to write a blog post tonight, but I found this fun linky with Michelle aka The 3AM Teacher.  I couldn't pass this one up since she was my inspiration to blog.  She is hosting the First Year Bliss Linky.
I never thought I would enjoy blogging so much!  When I first started reading other blogs, I always thought, "Wow!  I could have said the same thing!"  Or, when I would do something really fun with my students, I would want to share it with the world.  What a better way than through blogging!!  Plus, the blogging community has been awesome to work with.  Everyone is so willing to share and be there for you no matter what!

My best memory from blogging was when I changed my blog design on my own!   I had seen such fun looking blogs out there, and I wanted to have mine look super cool too.  But I did not have the money to spruce it up at all.  So, I used my friend Google to find a really cool way to make my own blog design.  I did use elements from other sources, but I changed it all by myself.   I have gotten so many tips from other bloggers and blogs that I have used on my blog and TPT products, but changing my blog was my proudest moment!

I am also amazed by how many people follow my blog!  I love when people comment on my posts because I know they are reading it!  Who would have thought that my thoughts were that intriguing!  I really enjoyed my blog post about the book Beyond Leveled Books.   I really enjoyed reading all of the comments people had about the book.  It was a great read that I just had to share!

I have also made some great friends through blogging!  One friend in particular is a Virginia blogger with whom I have a great deal in common!  Head on over to Melissa's blog Don't Let the Teacher Stay Up Late and show her some bloggy love!

Blogging has been fun!  I never thought in a million years that I would be where I am today!  Now I am over 300 followers with a giveaway you don't want to miss!  Click here to join in!

So, what is your best blogging memory?  Link up with Michelle to let us all know!

Until next time!

  2. Aww, thank you so much for that shout out! I really am so glad that I stumbled across your blog!

And when I actually find the time, I'd love to design my own blog template. For now, I'm happy enough with the free template I found though. I did make my own button!
